I’m going to start blogging about my Linux experiences. I’ve
been using various flavors of Linux for almost 20 years now. I
started using Linux when Windows was 98SE and I kept getting the
dreaded blue screen of death.
My first flavor was
SUSE. I bought a copy and installed it. I was pretty dumb back then.
I called my internet provider to fined out how I could log on with
Suse. They said they didn’t support Linux. I didn’t know it but
SUSE was already using the internet.
I prefer the Mate
desktop and I like to play Mahjongg and Aisleriot when I’m bored so
my evaluation will be based on whether or not I can install them on
the Distros deskstop.
